How can I trust that your products are clean?
At Ghost Democracy, we take clean skincare incredibly seriously and work with a strict formulation charter that restricts what can and can't go into every single one of our products. (See all our restricted ingredients here.) Additionally, we adhere to compatibility, stability, and micro testing for quality assurance every step of the way.
Where did the name Ghost Democracy come from?
We love this question!
When we first started Ghost Democracy, we asked ourselves what we associated with the words "clean" (for our non-toxic formulas) and "transparent" (for our easy to understand ingredient ethos as well as being formulated for ALL skin types, tones and textures to see results!). Strangely, the first image that came to mind was a ghost. It was odd, but it stuck with us. And as soon as we thought about our mission to democratize highly effective clean skincare, Ghost Democracy came to life. A bit kooky and unexpected, like us.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes!
All Ghost Democracy products are dermatologist-tested, non-comedogenic, and HRIPT-tested to be suitable for all skin types.
What's the best way to store Ghost Democracy products?
Products should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
What's the shelf life of your products?
All Ghost Democracy products have a shelf life of up to three years once opened. However, each product has a unique PAO (period after opening) and should be used within six months after opening.
Are your products vegan?
Absolutely. We love our animal friends just as much as we love ghosts. None of our products are formulated with animal ingredients or animal-derived ingredients, including honey, beeswax, lanolin, or gelatin.
Is your packaging recyclable?
You bet!
Where are your products made?
All Ghost Democracy products are proudly made and manufactured in the USA.
Do you send samples?
Yes! With every order, you'll receive two complimentary samples of your choice.
Can I cancel or make changes to my order?
To allow us to get your goods to you as quickly as possible, we have a strict order fulfillment process which means we are unable to make changes after you order. To reach out with questions about your order, please contact us immediately at info@ghostdemocracy.com. Unfortunately, we do not allow edits to your order once it's been placed, but we're happy to help you in any other way!
How much is shipping?
We offer free, ground shipping on all orders of $60 or more! Shipping for orders below this amount will be $12 at checkout. An expedited shipping option is also available for $19, at checkout.
When can I expect my order?
With standard ground shipping, you should receive your order within 3-7 business days.
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship to all states within the US, except for Alaska and Hawaii.
Can I track my order?
Yes! We'll email you a tracking link with your shipping confirmation or you can access that info anytime in your account. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for tracking information to become available.
When will I be charged for my order?
We will charge you for your order as soon as you place it.
Who can I talk to about a missing or incorrect order?
We're so sorry that we weren't able to send you exactly what you wanted. Please let us know at info@ghostdemocracy.com and we'll gladly take care of you.
What is your return and shipping policy?
